Vipers 2012 Player Info
Registration:
Vipers sign-up and open gym will be February 25th and March 3rd, 2012 at Landmark College, 8:00 – 10:00am. This will be a time for players and parents to meet Vipers’ coaches, get information, and play some basketball. It is important that new players come and play for at least 1 hour. Sign-up deadline is March 3rd, 2012. If you cannot attend either sign-up day please contact John Goodhue at 802-579-8526 or john@vipersbasketball.org. Practice:
Vipers practice starts in early March, after the school basketball season ends. We practice in gyms in the Brattleboro area. Practices are 1-2 times per week. Practices are normally on one weeknight and one weekend day on non-tournament weekends. Practice times and places will be determined once the team rosters are set.
Tournaments:
Tournaments are on weekends starting on March 17th and ending on May 20th (see tentative schedule below). All tournaments are 2 games per day. Most tournaments do not require overnight stays with the exception of the Cape Cod tournament in April and the Vermont State tournament (if your team chooses to play there). Cape Cod is our fun overnight trip. Most families stay in the same hotel.
